How to remove mold growing on wood floors?

Mold grows when there is too much moisture present. Wood floors often grow mold after a water loss that has not been cleaned up correctly.

Mold Under Wood Floors

Water gets under the grooves and stays there and cannot evaporate before mold grows. Many homeowners will dry up the floor not realizing that a lot of the water had made it under the it through the slats and cornets.

In about three days the mold will start to show on the surface of the wood. If that's the case then there will be a lot of mold under the wood that will need to be cleaned.
