How do I get mold out of my bathroom?

Bleach Does not Remove Mold

A common way to clean a bathroom is to use bleach. When it comes to mold you cannot trust it to remove the mold entirely.

On a surface that is non-porous mold can be wiped off and disinfected with bleach. On a surface such as drywall the mold sets down roots that will remain even after the walls are wiped down with bleach.

How to be sure to get rid of mold

Tearing out the mold covered materials is the only way to be sure to get all the mold out of your home. There may be spores everywhere but they can be cleaned, visible mold must be removed.
